‘How do I introduce my associate to my mother and father?’ That is the query Jonah Batambuze all the time will get from Asians who contact him.

So he has began operating workshops to assist {couples} put together for tough introductions.

He is the founding father of Blindian Project, a web-based platform celebrating black and Asian relationships. He says anti-black racism throughout the South Asian group could be the most important problem for {couples}.

But current occasions within the United States – Black Lives Matter protests and the election of Kamala Harris as US vice-president – are beginning to shift attitudes within the South Asian group.
