Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley reside in a winter wonderland! The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Gretchen took HollywoodLife on an EXCLUSIVE tour of her and her fiancé’s beautiful dwelling, the place she confirmed off their spectacular Christmas decorations. Every inch of their home is decked out proper now and prepared for Santa to return go to their one-year-old daughter, Skylar Gray. Follow alongside within the video above!
The video begins with Gretchen answering the door to her dwelling whereas carrying a festive, one-shouldered inexperienced robe, topped off with a glittering Chanel brooch. She takes HollywoodLife by the rooms of the Smiley-Rossi family, one after the other — and each is prettier than the following, full of traditional nutcrackers, glowing reindeer, and Santas galore. Gretchen referred to as her all-white eating room her favourite house to embellish in the home.
“I absolutely love decorating this space,” Gretchen says whereas presenting a desk topped with white timber and fluffy fake snow. “I really wanted it to feel like an enchanted forest meets a white winter land, with all of the Christmas trees floating about the snow and the clouds.” In between room excursions, Gretchen shared footage of herself and Slade moving into the vacation spirit with little Skylar.
The mother and daughter duo wore matching crimson clothes full with mitten pockets as they ran round the home and bake vacation cookies collectively. You can see absolutely the pleasure on Skylar’s face as she locations with dad Slade (who steals a pair cookies himself). What a magical vacation they’ve created for his or her little lady. And talking of Skylar magic… Gretchen gave HollywoodLife the very first displaying of her daughter’s nursery!
And boy, was it definitely worth the wait. Skylar’s dwelling in Pinterest-worthy digs match for a princess. “We have worked so hard on this space. We really wanted it to feel really whimsical and beautiful. I absolutely love this wallpaper but it was this dark, deep color,” Gretchen mentioned, displaying an accent wall coated in large flowers, full with Skylar’s identify in gold. “I wasn’t positive how it might all sort of come collectively, however I feel it turned out superb.
The remainder of the room is white and pale pink, and contains Skylar’s comfortable crib from Pottery Barn, a tiny coat rack, a studying nook, and a rocking chair for Gretchen. But one of the best half, other than her cute pink Christmas tree? Little butterflies (Skylar’s favourite) on the wall above her altering desk. “We think it turned out just beautiful. Love it.”
And onto the large finale… Gretchen and Slade’s superb tree! “I just love this tree, you guys. This is actually a faux tree and we decided to flock it,” Gretchen gushes. “We really wanted it to feel just really white and wintery and special. I love decorating it with the poinsettias. I add glam and sparkles. I love the big bulbs. I have special ornaments like this ornament from Skylar’s first Christmas [in 2019]. This is really special, and I wrap gifts down below and I add sparkle and ribbon to those gifts there,” she says, pointing subsequent to the tree. “I love these sprigs out of the side of the tree. Just adds a real touch of sparkle and glam and glamour to the tree.”
