‘The freeway is our residence now’

For practically two weeks, farmers from throughout India have been protesting on the Delhi border towards new market-friendly reforms that they are saying are towards their pursuits.
Thousands of them have gathered to voice their discontent and on Tuesday, they referred to as on the remainder of India to hitch them in a nationwide strike.
Farmers say that they’re very scared for what these new reforms imply particularly for farmers with small land holdings.
The BBC’s Rajini Vaidyanathan speaks to the farmers on the border to seek out out why they’re so indignant with the federal government’s new reforms.
